After admiring and collecting pottery for years, I chose about 20 years ago, to pursue my interest, now passion, in working with clay. I treasure the opportunity in my life to explore this creative and meditative art - it is a rewarding journey that continues to challenge and excite me. I focus primarily on functional, wheel-thrown pieces that can enrich common daily experiences and activities. My work is constantly evolving as I continually learn from others, get inspired from the world around me, and experiment with a variety of forms, textures, tools, clays and colors. I love sharing my passion with others and enjoy teaching clay art to kids of all ages in schools, camps, classes and pottery clubs. My work can be found in the following places;
